Protecting your data matters to us. This policy explains which data the “Mira Mirror” app processes, for what purpose, and which rights you have (GDPR).

1. Controller

The controller for data processing is the operator of the Mira Mirror app. Contact details can be found in the app store listing or on the website.

2. Data we process

Account: email address, name, password (stored as a secure hash only). Voluntary profile data: e.g. sizes, year of birth, gender, goals. Content: photos you upload, analysis results, routines, wishlists and chat messages. Technical: language setting, push token (only if reminders are enabled).

3. Photos and AI processing

Your photos are transmitted to AI services (OpenAI, Google Gemini) acting as processors solely to provide the feature you requested (analysis, compass, comparison, virtual try-on) and are not used there for training purposes. The legal basis is performance of contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

4. Guest mode

Guest sessions are anonymous (no email required). All guest data – including photos, analyses and wishlists – is automatically deleted after 24 hours.

5. Storage and deletion

We store account data and content until you delete them or close your account. You can delete analyses in the app at any time. QR handoff codes expire after 24 hours. To fully delete your account, contact the operator.

6. No selling, no advertising

We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising purposes. Data is only shared with the named processors (AI services, hosting) and – in boutique mode – with the respective boutique in anonymised, aggregated form (e.g. usage statistics without photos).

7. Push notifications

Reminders (e.g. for your routine review) are optional. You can disable them at any time in your profile or in your device settings. A device token is processed for this purpose.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

9. Changes

We update this policy when the App or the legal situation changes. The current version is always available in the App.
